Quota numbers to Canadian Senior Men's Championship
From the BC Senior Men's, we will be providing a minimum of 15 quota spots to the Canadian Senior Men's Amateur at Sault Ste. Marie Golf Club September 9 - 12 2008. At least 2 of these will be awarded to super senior players.
RCGA Quota spots in the Canadian Senior Men's Amateur are given to players belonging to the BCGA and who meet residency requirements.
We will post those who qualify for quota spots on our website the day following the provincial championship. We expect that those who qualify will notify us directly to confirm their intent to play in the national championship. We will then confirm the names to the RCGA who will add them to the list of invitees.

The BC Senior Men’s Championship consists of two divisions; the Senior Division for those between 55 and 64 as of the first day of the championship and the Super Senior Division for those 65 and over as of the first day of the championship. All players will compete for the overall Championship.
The Senior Men’s Championship is a 54-hole stroke play gross competition. There will be a cut to the low 70 and ties after 36 holes (based on a field of 144 players). A minimum of 10 spots will be provided to players in the super senior division. The BCGA reserves the right to adjust these numbers based on the final number of players in each Division.
The Zone Team Championship is held coincidentally with the first and second rounds of the BC Senior Men’s. Four man zone teams are named by each zone prior to the start of the tournament. The Zone Team championship uses the low 3 of 4 scores each day.
In the event the tournament is not fully subscribed at closing date, the qualified entries received at closing will be confirmed and guaranteed. Entry will be re-opened for 14 days, with eligible entries accepted on a first come, first service basis.
