| Detail: | Players must be currently eligible to participate in Club, Zone and BCGA (if from out of province, then the provincial or state golf association in which they reside) events. Exemptions are available to: 1) Winners of previous 5 BC Amateurs and National Champions residing in BC 2) Top 10 finishers and ties from previous BC Amateur 3) 3 Presidential Exemptions, including 1 from Whitehorse 4) 6 exemptions for players attending college and unable to play in zone qualifiers 5) 5 positions available in Supplemental Qualifier (any spots available from all above categories will be made available in Supplemental Qualifier) 126 players who have qualified through the Zone Championship. Number of exemptions available to each zone determined by total zone membership in BCGA, number of attempts to qualify in each zone, number of players from each zone who have made cut in previous 5 years (min. 4 from each zone), and exemptions available to host zone. |
